Walt Disney World

Sometimes we just need a break from life.  A couple of months ago we decided that we really needed to go on a vacation.  Once that was decided then came the hard part.... deciding where to go.  Normally you wouldn't think this would be difficult.  But for us, it definitely was.  We are spoiled and we had the option of basically going anywhere we wanted.  We looked at a lot of places and still could not decide.  So no trip was ever planned.  One of our first ideas had been to go to Disney World but that idea was pushed aside as we talked to other people and looked at other places.  Finally about a month ago we just decided that we really wanted to go to Disney World and we were putting too much thought into where we should go.

We booked our airline tickets and then it became official, we were headed to Florida!  (We got a great deal on our tickets $275 round trip.)  We decided that we wanted to stay at Disney World.  When you stay in one of their resorts they provide transportation from the airport to your hotel and back.  Then you don't have to rent a car.  They also have tons of buses that bus you back and forth between the parks and your resort.  Because it was spring break they had a great deal on our hotel.  They always have little specials running for different times of the year.

A lot of people don't know that Disney World has value hotels that cost a lot less than you would think.  They are actually affordable.  If you know Brian and I, then you know that we like to save money in any way we can.

Disney World offers a dining plan for those staying at the resort.  We decided not to get the dining plan.  In our room there was a small fridge.  We made muffins before we left, took cups and spoons, and cereal.  Then we bought milk when we got there.  It saved us so much money.  We also took trail mix and some snacks to eat when we got hungry.  We saved probably close to $200 on food by not getting the dining plan.

I loved all four parks.  Each one had something different to offer.  I had been to Disney World once, but I had only gone to the Magic Kingdom park.  Brian has been to Disney World many times and loved showing me everything.  (I'm glad he knew his way around because I was always lost in the parks)

We had a blast and tried to fit in as much as we possibly could.

 Late night pizza!

Our cute matching Mickey PJ's.  (Brian's parents gave them to us for Christmas and we decided we should wear them on our trip.)

At Epcot they have a Coca Cola store where you can try different soda's from different countries.  Most of them are pretty good except for Beverly.  It was disgusting!  It was a soda from Italy.

We ate our fair share of Disney treats!

Lots of fun rides (some of them made me sick).

We had a great vacation.  But we were exhausted (you can tell from the last picture).
